Our good friend Vincent, owner of Maps Coffee and Chocolate, is an incredible guy.  He’s been a mentor and source of encouragement for us as we set out to build Ottawa Bike and Trail.  Vincent not only makes some of the best coffee and chocolate around but he’s also become a damn good frame builder.   Vincent has built over 25 bikes himself, but even more impressive, he’s taught many others how to build their own bicycles.  When Vincent asked us to collaborate on his latest build we jumped at the chance.

Vincent wanted a no nonsense single-speed build that would be fun to ride.  He had some parts that he wanted to use and left it up to us to put it all together.  We wanted to keep it simple and let the beautiful raw frame speak for itself.  We were more than happy with how this build turned out.  When you ride this bike it puts a smile on your face.

We can’t wait to collaborate with Vincent on another build!
